Fall Beauty Essentials Guide
To supplement your fall skincare routine, here are some recommendations based on your skin type.
Normal-Dry / Mature (35+)
Exfoliation is vital for dry and mature skin. Mix 1/8 teaspoon of Mixer Masque with 3 pumps of Balance Cleanser + Makeup Remover after cleansing and before toning. 1-2 per week is recommended.
Combine toner and Mixer Masque to create a facial masque and apply once per week at night.
For mature skin, use Fruit Acid Lotion at night to help speed up cell turnover.
If you require additional moisturizing, add Quench Extra Hydration Oil to your current moisturizer or apply at night as your body temperature rises and creates dehydration.
Normal-Oily / Acne-Prone
Be careful when exfoliating with acne-prone skin. If you do exfoliate, make sure it is mild exfoliation at best to avoid aggravation and unnecessary oil production. Instead, we recommend creating a facial masque by combining toner and Mixer Masque and apply once per week at night. Feel free to spot treat blemishes as needed.
Sensitive
If tolerated, create a facial masque by combining toner and Mixer Masque and apply conservatively anywhere from once a week to once every two weeks, depending on sensitivity levels. This will help purify and detox skin.
If you find your skin is also becoming more dry, use Quench Extra Hydration Oil to avoid further sensitivities caused by dry skin.
Rosacea-Prone
Do not exfoliate with rosacea symptoms. In most cases, it is also best to avoid using a facial masque.
Only Quench Extra Hydration Oil is recommended to use as a moisturizer, and you can feel free to use as desired. Apply a small amount to act as a barrier under mineral makeup as well.
